How to Clean Your Eyelash Extension

Eyelash cleaning do’s:

Note: Please wait for cleaning within 24 hours after booking!

1. Firstly, if you are a wearer of oily or eye makeup, clean the eyelash extensions at least 2-3 times a week or every night.

2. Use a specific eyelash extension foam cleaner to ensure that your eyelashes have an antibacterial solution to keep your eyes and eyelashes healthy. Then, the use of eyelash-specific cleaners can avoid glycols, oils and other contraindications that may be present in eyelash extenders commonly found in commonly used cleansers.

3. Avoid using oily products around the eyes or around the eyes. These include cleansers, moisturizers, cleansers, aromatherapy oils, spray toners, coconut/rosehip oils, eye creams, and more. Moreover, if you use a cleaner that is not suitable for expansion, you must carefully wipe the cleaner on your face instead of washing it, as the remaining product will wash onto your eyelashes.

What should not be done with eyelash cleaning:

1. Do not use makeup remover wipes when wearing eyelash extensions. They are filled with annoying oils, glycols and emollients, and whip extensions don’t like to cause your stretch to prematurely fall off. It’s very early! They do not last long when using makeup wipes. Cosmetic wipes are not an ideal way to cleanse the face because they leave a residual makeup on the skin and dry the skin.

2. Do not use clean water. These products are not suitable for expansion.

3. Do not use a face towel, sponge, make-up pad, cotton swab or other items on or near the extension of the eyelashes. These will pull your eyelashes and cause damage and premature eyelash loss.

3. Do not rub your eyes hard when cleaning – Use only a slight fingertip pressure to clean the eyelash extensions. I recommend using a cleaning brush like I sold to a customer. Strict friction can cause premature eyelash loss and rough/damaged natural eyelashes that are short and fragile and cannot be stretched safely. It won’t cause too much damage to your eyelashes, so keep it gentle!

When should I clean my eyelash extension?

1. Clean your eyelash extension at least every other day. If you are an eye cosmetic wearer or have oily skin or eyelids, clean the eyelash extensions every day.
2. I recommend cleaning the eyelash extensions at night to remove facial oils, dust, and makeup.
3. Clean your eyelash extensions after swimming, exercise/fitness, sunscreen, etc. (Make sure your sunscreen is oil-free). Chlorine, salt, sweat, and oil should be removed immediately from the eyelash extension. To maintain the integrity of the eyelash adhesive.
